Gathering Specialist Doctors on Every Toddler Worries: The Modern Toddler Playbook Seminar

Toddlers get into everything. For their parents, that means a running list of small worries. A fall, a rash, a night of noisy breathing, a fussy eater. On 27 September 2025, Supermom put the right experts in front of those questions. The Modern Toddler Playbook ran from 1 pm to 6 pm at Suntec Singapore. It was built for parents of toddlers, with a focus on health, safety, and development.

More than 530 parents registered, many booking as couples. The programme ran seven expert sessions, most led by specialist doctors.

Objective

The seminar set out to answer the questions toddler parents carry most. Many involve health and safety, and rarely get a proper hearing outside a clinic.

For partner brands, the goal was trusted association. Reaching engaged parents through a credible, expert-led setting is worth more than reach alone.

The Experience

Unlike a typical parenting seminar, the programme took a distinctly clinical and expert-led approach, with hospital specialists addressing some of the most common concerns parents face during the toddler years.

Dr Vincent Ng, a neurosurgeon, explained how parents should respond to head injuries and recognise when medical attention is needed. Paediatrician Dr Liew Woei Kang explored food allergies and prevention, while other sessions covered childhood fractures, snoring, and the role of nutrition in supporting early brain development.

The programme also looked beyond immediate toddler concerns. Obstetrician Dr Sheri Lim spoke to parents considering another child, while a dedicated financial planning session highlighted the importance of preparing early for future education costs.

Supermom also previewed its AI-powered parenting assistant, demonstrating how parents could continue receiving support beyond the seminar itself. The event opened with remarks from a Senior Parliamentary Secretary as Guest of Honour, further reflecting the programme’s credibility and public significance.

AIA Singapore and Enfagrow A+ Pro C-Biome joined as official partners, alongside 15 supporting brands across baby care, nutrition, and everyday family essentials. To encourage parents to engage with participating partners, a stamp trail guided attendees across the booths, with completed entries qualifying for a lucky draw featuring more than S$4,000 worth of prizes.

Event Performance Results

The response was strong where it counted, in how parents felt afterwards. Of those surveyed, 94% would recommend Supermom seminars to family and friends.

The health sessions rated highest by some margin. More than 90% of respondents rated the talks on head injuries and food allergy 8 to 10 out of 10. The venue and timing scored similarly well.

The campaign reached parents across Singapore ahead of the day. Advertising delivered 119,145 impressions, with 40,687 more across social media. The event page drew 20,263 views, and more than 530 parents registered.

Why It Worked:

The seminar worked because it took parents' worries seriously. Instead of general advice, it offered specialists on the exact fears that keep parents up. A neurosurgeon on head knocks. A paediatrician on allergies.

That specificity showed in the ratings. The most clinical sessions scored highest, which is telling. Parents valued expertise they could not easily find elsewhere.

For partners, the value was the setting. A brand seen beside trusted doctors borrows some of that trust. That is a different proposition from reach bought on a feed.
