How Supermom's Prenatal Seminar Earned a 98.5% Recommendation Rate From Expecting Parents

On 1 August 2026, Supermom brought together 914 registered expecting parents at Suntec Convention Centre for Stepping Through the Looking Glass to Birth, a full-afternoon prenatal education seminar built around the questions that matter most in the months before a first child arrives.

Across the afternoon, 10 expert speakers, 9 official partners, and a programme of partner booths gave expecting parents a trusted, single-day guide to pregnancy, birth, and the earliest days of newborn care. The event paired genuine educational value for parents with structured, high-visibility touchpoints for partner brands, all held within the trusted environment of the Supermom community.

Objective

The seminar was designed to deliver on both sides of the Supermom community.

For expecting parents, the goal was a credible, reassuring day of expert guidance covering the full journey from pregnancy through birth to newborn care, delivered by medical professionals and specialists they could trust. For partner brands, the objective was meaningful access to a high-intent audience at one of the most decision-rich moments in a parent's life, when choices about healthcare, products, and services are actively being made.

Supermom's role was to convene the right audience, programme the right expertise, and give partners structured exposure throughout the journey.

The Experience

The seminar was structured to move parents through a full day of learning, discovery, and partner interaction.

On arrival, attendees checked in and collected a wrist tag for goodie bag redemption, then moved through partner booths before and between sessions. The expert programme anchored the day, with 10 speakers covering the full prenatal-to-newborn journey: what matters through the three trimesters, prenatal checkups, financial preparation, stem cell banking, postnatal recovery, newborn care, breastfeeding, and birth choices. Partner booths from AIA, Applecrumby, Cryoviva, Friso, Mount Alvernia, Pfizer, Pigeon, and Re'Joy gave brands space to meet parents directly, while a lucky draw and goodie bag redemption rounded out the experience.

Sponsor visibility ran throughout: brand presence across the registration journey, products in every goodie bag, and brand exposure during the seminar and lucky draw.

Findings & Strategic Implications

Why It Worked

Stepping Through the Looking Glass to Birth succeeded because it met expecting parents at exactly the right moment, with exactly the expertise they were looking for.

Trusted expertise drove the value. Expecting parents came for credible answers, and the expert speaker lineup delivered. The highest-rated sessions, scoring up to 9.16 out of 10, covered the subjects first-time parents worry about most: breastfeeding, birth choices, and caring for a newborn in the first days. That depth of expertise is what turned attendance into a 98.5% recommendation rate.

High intent created real value for partners. Expecting parents are making decisions about healthcare, products, and services in real time. By convening this audience in a trusted educational setting, Supermom gave partner brands access to parents at a genuinely high-intent moment, through booths, sampling, and goodie bag placement rather than interruptive advertising.

Satisfaction signals a repeatable format. A 98.5% would-recommend rate and an 8.9 average NPS are not just strong event metrics; they are evidence of a trusted, repeatable platform. Parents left wanting more, and the survey surfaced clear demand for future topics spanning feeding and nutrition, toddler behaviour, newborn care, and prenatal preparation, giving Supermom and its partners a ready roadmap for what comes next.
